And it is, above all, store manager Ulricka who is fearless when it comes to trying new ideas. ELISA not only provided the store with an opportunity to create contact with new and existing customers, but also the opportunity to offer its customers a completely new way of shopping

As the Chili Clothes I Like store had been active on social media for some time, Ulricka thought it was time to try something different. But since they were already selling a great deal via social media, a new channel was needed. Ulricka wanted a new way of interacting with customers which would live up to the demands of modern-day consumers.

But as a store, how do you avoid losing that vital personal connection to your customers if you want to establish yourself online? The answer is live shopping. Live shopping is simply a way of shopping online where personal contact is in focus.

The customer watching the event can easily place an order by, for example, entering: “Yes, I’ll take offer A”, in the comments field under the video.

Ulricka says that she has always had a forward-thinking mindset when it comes to trying new things. She also adds that the entertainment factor during a live show is key. Before, during, and after a live event, ELISA manages all the administration. Once the event is over, the store gets a full report on all completed orders and payments.

For me, it is important that the experience of live shopping is entertaining and positive for our customers. Thanks to ELISA, I can place 100% of my attention on this goal rather than on the technical and administrative stuff.

After starting with live shopping, the small store in Kalix has enjoyed great success. If you look at the statistics, it is not a unique situation that Chili Clothes I Like finds itself in. E-commerce has grown exponentially in recent years, something the corona pandemic has no doubt contributed to.

Shopping online is something that particularly the younger generation has embraced, but with the new opportunities offered by ELISA, the slightly older generation has also opened its eyes to online shopping. ELISA allows the store showcase products live and respond to questions in real-time, which contributes to a much higher conversion rate and much lower return rates.

Keeping up with the times when it comes to visibility and accessibility online is unequivocal, and this definitely does not just apply to the clothing industry. In principle, all industries today are represented online, and bearing in mind how much online sales are growing, it is a given that the winners in the future will be those with an online presence.
