You may not, however, unsubscribe from emails about your account status or subscription-related communication.
ELISA is located in the European Union, and when you use our Services, we may collect, use and store your information in Europe. Your personal information will be subject to the laws of the European Economic Area (EAA), which may differ from your country of residence. For example, the law of the EAA may require that your personal information be disclosed to government agencies under different circumstances than in your country of residence.

We may disclose generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal information regarding visitors and users with our business partners, trusted affiliates, and advertisers, without notification to the User of such disclosure. We may disclose User’s personal information to third parties involved in a legal proceeding if the third party provides ELISA with a subpoena or other similar lawful process. Disclosure may be made without notice to User.
ELISA will also disclose to third parties involved in a legal proceeding when ELISA believes in good faith that disclosing personal information is necessary to prevent imminent physical harm or financial loss, or to report suspected illegal activity.
We will only retain your personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes for which we collected it, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, regulator, tax, accounting or reporting requirements. We may retain your personal data for a longer period in the event of a complaint or if we reasonably believe there is a prospect of litigation with respect to our relationship with you.

We try to respond to all legitimate requests within one month. Occasionally, it could take us longer than a month if your request is particularly complex or you have made a number of requests. In this case, we will notify you and keep you updated.

This policy describes how ELISA delivers communications to you electronically. We may amend this policy at any time by posting a revised version on our website. The revised version will be effective at the time we post it.
You agree and consent to receive electronically all communications, agreements, documents, notices, and disclosures (collectively, „Communications”) that we provide in connection with your ELISA account („Account”) and your use of our Services. Communications include:

It is your responsibility to keep your primary email address up to date so that ELISA can communicate with you electronically. You understand and agree that if ELISA sends you an electronic Communication, but you do not receive it because your primary email address on file is incorrect, out of date, blocked by your service provider, or you are otherwise unable to receive electronic Communications, ELISA will be deemed to have provided the Communication to you.
Please note that if you use a spam filter that blocks or re-routes emails from senders not listed in your email address book, you must add ELISA to your email address book so that you will be able to receive the Communications we send to you.
You can update your contact details at any time by logging into app.ELISA.io and updating your profile.

We will notify you if there are any material changes to the hardware or software needed to receive electronic Communications from ELISA. By giving your consent you are confirming that you have access to the necessary equipment and can receive, open, and print or download a copy of any Communications for your records. You may print or save a copy of these Communications for your records as they may not be accessible online later.
